Love and Loss

We have all heard that love is a game. Its the game of life. However, if we play with the wrong intent, we can end up feeling the pain of emptiness and loss. Breaking hearts and having our heart broken hurts like no other pain there is. It affects your entire life. We can’t sleep, eat or have little desire to exist. Love is the blood and oxygen of life. It fuels us and gives us the power and strength to endure even the worst of situations.

Learning Affection

Seeking to find that special someone who feels the same in their hearts is a precious experience. Not everyone is on the same page with how to love. Many are, like it says in the song …”just learning to love. Just starting to crawl.” We learn to love from infancy. How our parents and those who care for us express affection and intimacy during our formative years determines how we will interact with others as we grow. Karma is hell to pay.

Building Trust

Something as simple as a hug and a kind word of encouragement can go a long way. When we are honest with ourselves and those we care about then that expression of love can be the thing that drives them to success in life and in love. So how do we play the game of love? We begin with living and being truthful. Trustworthiness can make or break any relationship. When we build and earn trust someone can put confidence in our actions and words. So why would we want to play with it?

Respect and Karma

Next we understand that intimacy is the foundation of any relationship. It is all the ingredients of affection, care, nurturing, support, trust, respect and more that assures those we love will be okay with us, no matter what. Finally, remember the golden rule of treating others as you would have them treat you. Planting seeds of disceptation, destruction and pain can only return to us. We know all the clinche warnings, but do we heed them? Love is the greatest gift we have.
